In the spring of 2015 the municipality of Amsterdam began the competition process for the development of the P15 Ravel plot in the Zuidas Business District. The aim of the competition was to realise a multifunctional building, including a mixed programme of offices, residences and amenities, covering a total floor area between 50,000m2 and 75,000m2. Together with Plus One Amsterdam, Harold van Velsen and I designed the entry for MRDV, a renowned architecture office from Rotterdam. After evaluating entries, the municipality selected MVRDV to develop their design.
